Old toy but new toy for Javan! This musical toy is actually Yichun’s so this is like a 21 yr old toy liao..haha …
Detached them and soaked and wash using Dettol and put to dry!!

Lately, I’ve not been having good night sleeps…wake up a few times every night to change sleeping position…so painful when I change sides..but if I don’t change side, back will ache…buttock will ache too..
Currently into week 29… can feel his kicks and jerks harder now… so funny.. I wonder some of the small consequetive movements are caused by his hiccups..keke.. Visiting gynae this Sat… gonna ask her for advice to when I should start taking leave.. Its really bothering to wake up to get to work… hate hate hate to go work now!!

Set up the Babycot we brought over from Mum’s place yesterday..So heavy but I can’t help carry..haha.. I don’t have strength anyway..

Slanted Tummy! Haa!
Woke up from sleep few days ago and realised my tummy was slanted! Haha..
Think I didn’t change my sleeping position the whole night that’s why Javan sank to my right side of my tummy…haha..
Lately he’s been really busy inside my tummy lor.. machiam dancing leh.. can sense him moving on both sides of my tummy!! Tap tap here..tap tap there.. and sometimes his bump is so hard and sudden that it gives me a shock! ~gasp
Haha.. next visit to gynae will be on 6 March…this time round cheesy papa can come along!!

Me and Cheesy Papa went for a complimentary photoshoot last Sunday at Snapz Image with 2 free soft copies returned to us…
My tummy so big liao wor… Javan inside me on week 22 (5 mths+). 4 more months to see him..haha.. We’re so kiasu we bought 1 set of clothings for Javan for him to wear when he can be discharged from Thomson Hospital.. tsk tsk… oh.. and a set of mittens and booties too..

Javan is 5 mths old (20 weeks)…
which means… it’s time to scan for gender! Its a BOY! Dd was so excited while waiting for the scan and nearly sprained his ankle cos he keeps walking here and there to go toilet blar blar blar… haha.. he just cannot sit still lah!!
I was too very very excited when I was in the room. I was alone in the room with the doctor cos she needs to take alot of measurments like the head circumference, see if the heart is normal, check if lips are normal without chip / cleft, check the brains, check the baby’s waist line to estimate the weight etc etc… It was as though someone squeezed my lungs n stomach so hard until I cannot breath properly..haha.. I felt relieve only after she broke the news to me that its a boy..haha.. I’m ok with boy or girl…just that dd won the bet with his mum..haha.. so more shiok la..haha..
When she’s ready to show us the scan then she ask Dd and Chin in… showed us what she was scanning just now and showed us our boy boy’s penis..haa.. showed us his fingers and toes…to make sure all is there, all is normal…showed us the side profile of his face… so cute.. i love it..hee… I hope he will have sharp nose and big eyes wif double eye lids… I hope he will be as tall as his Daddy next time.. don’t be a shorty like me..haha..

I’m glad the terriblest weeks are over… Week 7 to 11 was the worst nightmare for me. I get hungry like every 2 hours or less but I get full v.fast too. Sometimes will follow with vomits. After vomits I get hungry again but I’ll get so scared to eat again..hai.. And almost every night I will puke. Often got the puke-rashes on my face. At times I will get dizzy in the morning… more dizzy when on train…
I got to eat like 7 meals a day? Gosh… need to have food / snacks with me all the time. Hate to think of what to buy to snack…
It’s over now… I eat 4 meals a day now. Happy~
Oh.. I can feel him moving inside me now. Haha.. these few days his move are more obvious untill dd can feel something bulging out when he placed his palm on my tummy.. So happy!!

1st visit to Gynae – 3 Oct 09
Baby is now 7 weeks 5 days old… Visited Judy Wong’s Clinic at Thomson Medical Centre last Saturday…
Reached her clinic around 9.40am. Nurse gave me a cup of warm water to fill up my bladder cos ultrascan needs full bladder then can see foetus clearly. She took my height and weight too.. 57.7kg.
I get to see Dr Wong after 10.30am. She’s very friendly and patient when explaining things to me. Checked if my family has any illness like diabeties, check with me if I have drug allergy etc… Then went to do scanning!
Squeezed some transparent gel on my lower belly.. and start to scan..haha.. When she pressed down, I can see my bladder change shape..whahaha so funny… And I almost squirt out urine lor cos I really had full bladder when I see her.
Explained to me where is the uterus, which is water bag and which is baby. Used her machine to measure the baby, which is 14.3mm now! So tiny..looks like red bean. And she told me the fast pumping thing is the heartbeat!! Zoomed in for me to see it clearer. Also told me the estimated delivery date is 17 May 2010.
Prescribed me 2 types of medication. One was a Multi-Vitamin pills, to take together with the Folic Acid which the GP gave me. Also prescribed me pills for vomitting.. but that one will cause drowsiness la. So I will restrain from eating that.
Done with Dr Wong. The nurse gave me a strip to ask me urine on it. This is to test the sugar and protein level. Mine is normal. Great! Oh, and upon payment (bill was about $206 lor!) she passed me a goodie bag. Some of the items in it:
Sample Milk Powder for pregnant mothers (2 sachets), Baby Care magazine, Huggies diaper with a inflated baby buttock for us to try out the diaper..haha.. I blew it up and put on the diaper.. Some other stuff are useless like brochures, full month’s cake catalog, buffet company’s ad and a couple of massage vouchers etc.
Hoho.. I really think the buttock thing is so funny lor.. have a closer look again…
Oh yes..the breakdown of the bill:
Consultation – $80
Ultrascan – $40
Blood test (pre-paid for next month’s visit) – $60
Urine Strip Test – $10
Medication – $10+
Total ard $206.. expensive hor…

Never in my life, seeing doctor was with such panic..haha.. there’s only 2 ppl in front of me in the queue… But it’s seems like its taking them donkey years in the consultation room lor…
Just before my number was buzzed… i started to get super excited… dunno how how how how how to tell doctor..whahaaa… So funny lah!!
So when we’re inside, I told him I did a preg test the night before and wants to confirm is the result is accurate. He ask me whether I want to see +ve or -ve results. Haha.. OK..so I went and collect urine and the nurse used the dropper to collect a few drops to drip it into a test kit. Then ask us to sit and wait while the doc was seeing the next patient.
Went into his room again.. AIYO SO GAN CHIONG LAH!!! Then he told us the result is really +ve..whaha happy lah.. Scary lor.. like take exam results like that..
We get to keep the test kit…
So he instructed us to go back to discuss where I wanna give birth… ask me not to stand too long, don’t tire myself, don’t carry heavy stuff, eat more nutritient food but don’t need to overeat…
He calculated and told me the foetus is 5 weeks old now. So fast meh? hmm…anyway, he say when I go for my scan, the gynae can then tell me a more accurate info…
Oh and he prescibed me Folic Acid to eat every morning after breakfast. 90 pills…to last for 3 mths.. When I start to visit gynae, she will give me a more complex set of folic acid.
Right after we stepped out of the clinic, cheesy papa called his mum.. Haha.. and told her that I got baby liao.. then there was awhile of silence… then she broke out laughing..whahaaa.. she say she’s going to be ah ma liao.. tonight cannot sleep liao..whaha…
His father still at work and also got a shock lor..whaha… also happy… they are first timers mah..whaha.. my mum and small sis already got so used to it liao..kaka..
Oh, his mum ask me not to do housework, ask him to do all.. WHAHAHAHHAAHA… I got promoted to be the QUEEN liao lah…suddenly got so much commanding power..whahhaa…
